About Susan Boorin

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with diverse training and expertise in child, adolescent and adult mental health. I can prescribe medication when indicated.  

My educational background includes a 5-year PhD from Yale University which includes training at Yale Child Study.

My philosophy is that an optimal treatment alliance between the patient and the provider is the catalyst of change.

Based on my experience, great improvement in mental health and emotional functioning can be achieved when the treatment approach is proactive and interactive.
